From Friday 3 until Sunday 5 May the EXPO VELDHOVEN takes place in NH Koningshof, open daily from 10:00 – 17:00. During this textile event you can admire more than 300 quilts, 60 stallholders will offer everything concerning textile handicrafts and you can partake in several workshops.

The quilts on display are divided in seventeen collections from famous quilters, quiltgroups or organisation. They originate from close to home and far away, for instance Belgium, England and France, but also Israel, United States and Australia.

Besides the quilt exhibition and shopping fair there are also several walk-in workshops and demonstrations, such as a fun demonstration in woodcarving. There are also several 1- and 2-day workshops. For example about the essentials of handquilting by Barbara Chainey, or the creative use of symmetry by Patti Hempen.
